Area Sales Manager - Encoders - Belgium-Luxembourg
In this challenging position you are the first point of contact for clients and potential clients within the manufacturing industry in the Benelux region for Renishaw's position encoder product line. With their encoder products, Renishaw is active in industrial automation, biomedical technology, machine building, drive technology, aerospace engineering, automotive, packaging industry and semiconductor industry.
On the basis of your knowledge and experience with processes, automation and inspection you are able to translate the technical wishes of clients or potential clients into practical and economically attractive solutions.
Sales routes are usually long and intensive. This makes it important to sense well where chances may occur. Renishaw also supplies tailor-made products and is often involved in product innovations where non-disclosure agreements apply. In the preparation and execution of important projects you will be assisted by experienced specialists from the Benelux office and the head office in England.
As well as finding new clients, maintaining and enhancing existing client relations will be an important part of your work. You do this in a structured manner, using your own knowledge of the Benelux manufacturing industry and supported by various marketing activities, such as trade fairs and email campaigns.
In this full-time role you will report to the Benelux Sales Manager.
You have a technical BSc. degree, or you have completed a commercial education and can demonstrate technical affinity. Furthermore, you have a minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably in a commercial role within a technical environment where sales routes can be complex.
Creativity and curiosity are crucial to be able to assess new applications well. You use CRM systems to optimise your pipeline management and to inform the internal organisation about the results to be expected.
You work equally well independently as within teams and you are well capable to find your way in the international Renishaw organisation. A good command in speaking and writing of the English and Dutch language is crucial for this; a sense of Dutch and English culture is an advantage.

The Dutch branch of Renishaw is responsible for sales and service in the Benelux. The organisation now consists of 14 employees, but expects to grow strongly during the next 5 years.
